Belle continue to dominate Forresters Beach high-end market

Hot on the heels of Cathy Baker’s record setting sale of 65 Forresters Beach Rd for over $5 million, Belle agent Baraka Leporte has sold 63 Forresters Beach Rd for a non-beachfront record of $3.5 million.

The striking home was on the market with another agent for nine months with a guide of $2.9-$3.15 million. Mr Leporte only had the listing for a week, selling to a Sydney holiday house investor will rent out the property with Belle Escapes.

“I think this was all about finding a buyer who wasn’t just focused on Forresters Beach,” Mr Leporte said.

“My buyer was looking all over the coast and came across this home, which has an amazing central staircase suspended above a koi fishpond.

“Forries is a hidden gem – it isn’t as publicized as places like Terrigal and Avoca, but it is one of the most underrated beaches on the Central Coast in my opinion.”

Set directly behind the record-breaking beachfront at 65 Forresters Beach Rd, the architecturally designed home was re-styled and photographed by Belle and marketed with a sense of urgency – other factors that Mr Leporte attributed to the success of the sale.

“I had confidence that the house could sell in the $3 millions. The view from the top level across the beach is just phenomenal stretching across Forresters Beach to Terrigal,” he said

Masterbuilt by the vendor, a structural engineer and designed by award-winning architect Matt Thitchener, the ultra-contemporary home is an area icon with three glass-wrapped levels for living and entertaining, decks on each level and unique concrete features.

In July, Cathy Baker from Belle sold the home in front for over $5 million, smashing the previous suburb record by over $1 million.

According to CoreLogic, the previous record for Forries was set 12 years ago at 14 South Scenic Rd, sold for $4.3 million right before a market downturn in 2008. Since then, all sales in excess of $3 million have been achieved by Belle Property on the Central Coast.
